Happy Sunday all! We've had such a fun, exciting weekend with lots of laughs meeting new friends. Let's go over our adoptions!
Oh Friday, Murph found his family! A very nice man named Joe and his two daughter just fell head over heels in love with Murph. And he equally fell in love with them. Murph was originally Cobo at the rescue. He was adopted out when he was only a few weeks old, but was returned a few weeks ago, due to peeing issues in the house. We have not seen any issues whatsoever since he's been back with us. He wasn't even fully up for adoption quite yet when he found his family and decided these are the people for me! He is a beautiful black tiger, date of birth 3-26-20, originally adopted 5-19-20 and returned 1-13-23.
On Saturday, we had new friends LynnMarie and Dan come all the way from Massachusetts to get a kitty. Little did they know two kitties would choose them! The first was Liza. A pretty American Shorthair, black and silver. Her date of birth is 7-3-22 and she arrived 12-11-22. She was found in the middle of the road with 3 siblings. The next was Marigold. She's sweet as a button, black and white, with a date of birth being 9-28-22. She arrived 10-26-22. She was abandoned with her siblings by their feral mother. They will be going back home today to meet their brother Beans. I think it'll go just wonderfully!
On Tuesday we had boxes! Thank you so much for making this such a fun event. I swear we get just as excited as the kitties do over the new things you find or their favorite snackers or just food in general! Thank you so much for making them feel as special as we know they are.

Up coming dates!
Wednesday, 8th - we will have CATch's eye surgery. I'm very excited for this to happen. He's been having more time in the main area and if you've seen him at all, you know he's ready to PLAY!
Thursday, 9th - Kiaras toe amputation and Egypts femoral head surgery. I would imagine they will both stay the night. Boy I'm gonna miss them. Please say every prayer and good thought for our babies.
The 15th - 18th - Lynnette and I will be going to our annual vet conference. We are so looking forward to all the things we will learn. We will be leaving after 'night meds' Wed. and returning late Sat. We know the staff and volunteers have everything under control and as always can reach us at any time.
We also have a new Valentines funraiser event coming up, so stay tuned!
