Then right after that we had the end of our fun-raiser---here's where I got speechless! Our fun-raiser brought in a total of  $1,615. That in itself is amazing! Then came the bump-uppers!!! They brought our grand total to $2,710.34. I cannot be more thankful! In celebration, Lynnette ordered 30 more FIV tests, which costs over $600! Thank you bump-uppers!!!

Thursday was Humane Ohio Day! We sent up 49 kitties including our Hamilton and Steven. Both boys are doing wonderful and play play played like crazy when they got home---which caused them to sleep a lot today! They are doing great.

Today we sent up our sweet old boy Rathbone. Rathbone came in on March the 11th for a euthenasia. Lynnette and I were ready for this upon arrival and had the medicines out....but once we looked at him, we both realized he was 'fixable'! He was definately in a rougher shape. He has a bad left eye, a limp in his left paw, which turned out to be a broken elbow, terrible ear mites and wounds on the back of both ears from scratching. It was an absolute amazing feeling knowing I KNEW I could help and I KNEW how! And he's just a love. He went to the amazingly wonderful Dr. Darcy today for his neuter, and to repair his left arm. She was able to pin it, and keep his arm. Yippee!!

Looking forward to Sunday--the first day of spring! Enjoy it! And remember kindness is free and can do so much, lets all share it!
In friendship ~ Megan and the Cats
